Best Western Inn Winchester

My husband and I traveled to Winchester for the wedding of my dearest Friend's daughter. Because it was just the 2 of us we didn't need a large home on the Lake, just a hotel room for 2 nights. We were surprised that the Best Western was the only Hotel to choose from and honestly I was a bit nervous before we arrived. I am admittedly a little bit of a hotel snob so I wasn't sure if this would be ok. One of the positives of staying there was that it is Pet Friendly and we did want to bring our small dogs. We booked one of their little suite rooms which was nice because it gave us a little extra room. We didn't use the kitchenette to cook in but It was nice to have it incase we had been visiting for other reasons. This hotel is older but has been taken care of. We very much enjoyed the hot breakfast every morning. The options and quality of the food was very good and I especially liked the fact that it stayed open longer than the usual hotel breakfast buffet.

Good breakfast spread, simple check in, secure doors, comfy beds and low noise level outside the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Location and ease of unpacking luggage plus dog friendly

The welcome…the lady at the reception made me feel so welcomed. She was sweet, kind. and genuinely interested in meeting my needs. She even gifted me some yummy snacks and offered me a room close to the reception in case I needed assistance. I wish I could remember her name but she knows who she is :-) I also like that it was Very Clean

My daughter attends the college - this location was a perfect stay .. the location had so much to offer and everything was close and convenient. I felt safe. The staff was very friendly- even though it was he was being trained, he was very kind and helpful with the info he did offer.
